At Glint Hair, we strive to provide high-quality AI-powered hair loss solutions, genetic and biomarker testing, supplements, and custom haircare products. We understand that there may be instances where a return or refund is required. This policy outlines the conditions under which returns, replacements, and refunds are applicable.

1. General Return & Refund Conditions

We accept returns and refunds in the following cases:

✅ Damaged or Defective Products – If the product is damaged during transit or is defective upon arrival.
✅ Incorrect Product Received – If the product received is different from what you ordered.
✅ Lost or Undelivered Orders – If your package is lost in transit or is undelivered beyond 14 business days from the expected delivery date.

🚨 Refunds/Returns are NOT applicable for:


🚫 Genetic/Blood/Saliva Test Kits – Once shipped, test kits cannot be returned due to hygiene and regulatory concerns.
🚫 Used or Opened Products – We do not accept returns on products that have been opened, used, or tampered with.
🚫 Custom Haircare Formulas – As they are personalized, they are non-refundable.
🚫 Supplements & Consumables – Due to safety and hygiene regulations, we do not accept returns of opened or used supplements.

2. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return or replacement, the following conditions must be met:

✅ Product must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.
✅ Return request must be initiated within 7 days of receiving the product.
✅ For damaged or defective items, clear photos/videos must be provided as proof.
✅ Genetic/Blood/Saliva test kits cannot be returned once opened or used.

3. Non-Refundable & Non-Returnable Items

Certain products and services cannot be returned or refunded:

❌ Genetic, Blood, and Saliva Testing Kits – Due to the nature of sample collection and regulatory compliance.
❌ Custom Haircare Formulas – These are prepared specifically for each user and cannot be resold.
❌ Supplements – Opened or used supplements cannot be returned due to health and safety concerns.
❌ AI-Generated Treatment Plans – Our AI-based recommendations are non-refundable as they are based on the analysis of provided data.

4. Refund Process

Refunds are processed only in the following cases:

✅ If the product is out of stock after purchase, we will issue a full refund.
✅ If a return request is approved, we will issue a refund after verifying the returned product.

🚨 Refunds will not be issued if:
❌ The return request is made after 7 days of delivery.
❌ The product is used, tampered with, or not in its original condition.
❌ The test kit sample is degraded or unusable due to improper handling by the user.

Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7-15 business days after approval.

5. Return & Replacement Process

A. How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return, follow these steps:

  • If your sample fails quality control due to improper collection, we are not responsible for refunds.
  • If the test kit is lost or damaged in transit, we will offer a replacement.

B. Return Shipping

  • For defective or incorrect products, we cover return shipping costs.
  • For other return reasons, shipping costs must be borne by the customer.

6. Cancellation Policy

A. Order Cancellations


❌ Once an order is shipped, it cannot be canceled.
❌ Genetic/Blood/Saliva test kit orders cannot be canceled once shipped.

B. Subscription Cancellations

If you have subscribed to monthly haircare products or supplements, you may cancel anytime before your next billing cycle.

🚨 Refunds are not issued for partially used subscription periods.

7. Sample Issues & Testing Limitations

For genetic, blood, and saliva biomarker testing kits, you acknowledge and agree that:

🚨 Sample quality affects results – If your sample is degraded, insufficient, or contaminated, the test may be inconclusive or inaccurate.

🚨 We are not responsible for:

  • Errors arising due to improper sample collection by the user.
  • Sample degradation due to temperature, contamination, or courier delays.
  • Unusable results due to expired or improperly stored samples.

✅ If a sample fails due to our lab processing error, a free retest will be offered.
❌ No refunds will be issued for failed tests due to customer mishandling.
